Xuechun is currently pursuing her MSc degree in the Department of Engineering at Durham University. Her dissertation project, supervised by Roy, focuses on sustainable carbon-based epidermal antennas for next-generation human-centric IoT applications. She completed her undergraduate studies in Automation at Wuhan University of Science and Technology, where she worked on sensor data acquisition and spectrum-based analysis for system validation. She also gained industry experience through internships at Harmo Robotics (Huangshan) Co., Ltd. and Baowu Steel Group Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. Outside of her studies, Xuechun enjoys music and dance, and holds a Guzheng Grade 10 certificate.
