Hanwen is currently pursuing his MSc degree in the Department of Engineering at Durham University. His dissertation project, supervised by Roy, focuses on eco-friendly epidermal antenna development. He completed his undergraduate studies at Nanjing Institute of Technology, where he received multiple scholarships and actively participated in academic competitions, achieving a Third Prize in the China Datang Cup and a Provincial Second Prize in the China National College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. His undergraduate thesis focused on a machine vision-based robotic arm control system, which is currently being developed further by his former supervisor with the intention of applying for a patent.
