Ethan is currently pursuing an MEng in Electronic Engineering at Durham University and is expected to graduate in 2027. His capstone project, supervised by Roy and Benjamin Maddox, builds on the work of George Lythgoe to develop a circularly polarised antenna for controlling the quantum states of ultracold polar molecules. He has been part of the Durham Solar Car team for three years, more than two of them as Head of Electrical. Ethan is keen to continue working in hardware and to develop new skills in RF engineering. Outside engineering, he is a keen climber and mountaineer.
