William Bourn – MEng Student
William is an MEng Electronic Engineering student at Durham University undertaking a capstone project under the supervision of Roy. Building upon previous research, his work explores the electrical properties of transparent conductive meshes fabricated from silver nanoparticles using inkjet printing. The project focuses on optimising mesh geometries and enhancing the implementation of the printing process. Driven by a passion for learning and applying knowledge, William has gained valuable experience as an Electronics Intern at BAE Systems within the Special Projects division of Digital Intelligence, and as an Electrical Consultant Intern at Binnies, part of the RSK Group.
