Yiqi completed her postgraduate studies in Electronic Engineering at Durham University in November 2025, graduating with a Postgraduate Diploma. Her final project, supervised by Roy, focused on electro-optical characterisation of inkjet-printed mesh-based transparent conductive films. Her research particularly examined variants of parallelogram mesh geometries, investigating how this mesh configuration affects the trade-off between electrical conductivity and optical transparency. 

She completed her undergraduate studies at Tianjin Agricultural University in June 2024, majoring in Measurement and Control Technology and Instrumentation, graduating with distinction (85%). During her undergraduate studies, Yiqi demonstrated strong research capabilities through multiple award-winning projects. She secured first and second prizes in competitions with projects including “Surface Machining Quality and Dynamic Reliability Test System of Micro-nano Structure” and “Chili Picking Robot System based on PLC Control”.
